Carbon Reduction Plan

Supplier Name: PrivateADHD.com Ltd
Publication Date: 02/02/26

Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

PrivateADHD.com Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040.

We support the UK Government’s target to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and recognise the importance of reducing the environmental impact of healthcare delivery. Our service model is designed around digitally enabled remote care, which significantly reduces emissions associated with patient travel, staff commuting and physical healthcare estates.

PrivateADHD.com Ltd will continue to identify opportunities to reduce emissions across its operations, supply chain and digital infrastructure while maintaining safe, high-quality patient care.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions represent the greenhouse gas emissions produced in the first year for which emissions data is available.

PrivateADHD.com Ltd operates a fully remote clinical service model, with no physical clinical estate or company vehicles. As a result, organisational emissions are expected to be low and primarily associated with digital infrastructure, home working energy use and limited business travel.

The organisation will establish a formal carbon baseline during Year 1 of contract delivery by measuring emissions across relevant categories including:

• Digital infrastructure and cloud-based systems

• Home working energy consumption

• IT equipment procurement

• Business travel where required

• Other relevant Scope 3 emissions associated with service delivery

Once the baseline has been established, emissions will be monitored annually to support future carbon reduction initiatives.

Organisational Structure

The service is delivered through a remote multidisciplinary workforce of approximately 25 FTE, including:

• Clinical Lead / Medical Director (1 FTE)

• Consultant Psychiatrists (4 FTE)

• Clinical Pharmacists (5 FTE)

• Specialist ADHD Nurses (2 FTE)

• GP Specialists (ADHD) (2 FTE)

• Operations Manager (1 FTE)

• Deputy Service Lead (1 FTE)

• Administrative / Operations Team (5 FTE)

The distributed workforce structure supports remote delivery of services and significantly reduces emissions associated with travel and physical office space.

Current Carbon Reduction Measures

PrivateADHD.com Ltd already incorporates several practices that reduce environmental impact.

Remote Healthcare Delivery

The majority of patient consultations are delivered remotely through secure digital consultation platforms. This reduces emissions associated with patient travel and clinical estate energy use.

Paperless Systems

Clinical records, prescriptions and correspondence are managed electronically, reducing paper consumption and physical record storage.

Remote Workforce Model

The organisation operates with a distributed workforce, reducing staff commuting and associated travel emissions.

Energy Efficient IT Equipment

Staff are issued with energy-efficient laptops and digital devices rather than high-energy desktop equipment.

Reduced Physical Infrastructure

Operating without large physical clinical estates significantly reduces building-related energy consumption.

Carbon Reduction Initiatives

PrivateADHD.com Ltd will implement the following measures to further reduce emissions.

Digital First Service Delivery

Continue prioritising remote consultations wherever clinically appropriate to minimise travel-related emissions.

Sustainable IT Procurement

Future procurement of IT equipment will prioritise energy-efficient devices and responsible disposal of electronic equipment.

Sustainable Digital Infrastructure

Work with digital platform providers and cloud hosting services that demonstrate commitments to renewable energy and sustainable data centre operations.

Reduced Business Travel

Governance meetings, staff training and multidisciplinary discussions will continue to be conducted virtually wherever possible.

Responsible Procurement

Environmental sustainability will be considered when selecting suppliers and digital service providers.

System-Wide Carbon Benefits

The remote service model used by PrivateADHD.com Ltd also contributes to wider NHS carbon reduction objectives. By delivering remote consultations and digital care pathways, the service reduces emissions associated with patient travel, clinician commuting and healthcare estate usage.

This approach supports the NHS ambition to deliver more care through digitally enabled, lower carbon healthcare services.

Monitoring and Governance

Environmental sustainability will form part of the organisation’s governance framework. The leadership team will review environmental practices periodically and identify opportunities for improvement.

Monitoring will include:

• Review of procurement practices

• Assessment of digital infrastructure sustainability

• Monitoring of business travel

• Continuous improvement in remote service delivery
